*Key Design Features*
It was all about strong lines and minimum fuss!.
Bold block colours, mainly neutrals such as black, silver, white and blue.
Designs relied on just their shape to stay on the body, no fastenings in sight! .
.The emphasis was not on 'pretty' but leaned more towards making a visual impact with statement pieces.
It was clear many designers took inspiration from modern architecture and artwork.
Experimenting with plastic, glass and metal gave great inspiration of what recyclables can be made into jewellery.
Many pieces felt almost like armour, with their harsh edges, they evoked a sense of 'protection' for the wearer.
