Bound in Beauty - A jewellery tribute

Bound in Beauty

Inspired by the work of
Alexander McQueen

 Why he inspires us...
Since McQueen burst onto the fashion scene in 1992 to début his first collection, his work has never been anything but revolutionary.
From Ready to Wear collections to Haute Couture, his designs not only look like examples of technical perfection, they also tell a deep and intricate story.
One thing is certain, Alexander McQueen loved to shock the audience at his shows, mainly because he wasn't afraid to push the boundaries of taste. The word conservative certainly wasn't in this designer's dictionary.
A re-curing theme in McQueen's work was his passion for the dark and beautiful, from clothing to accessories, he loved to add a gothic edge to a look.
His ingenious use of jewellery can be seen in the images below, a clever mix of both feminine and masculine elements but still devastatingly beautiful.
