What to do in Cowes....

...on a Spring Day!

Knowledgeable jewellery consultants
will be on hand to help.
Cowes is a quirky little town, known all over the world for its exquisite sailing and racing, but it has a lot more to offer.

Take a stroll through town and soak up the atmosphere of the High Street with its wonderfully different and independent shops. And while you are here, why not come and see us at The Earring Collection for a look at our new stock and new collections. Whether you are treating yourself, or buying a present, we are here to help with friendly and helpful advice and guidance regarding all things jewellery (and accessories).

Moocow's bright, relaxed and quiet
outdoor space.
Once you have build up an appetite, you could have some mezze style lunch in the calm and relaxed surroundings of the Moocow. This stylish mezze coffee lounge bar is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. It is situated just off Cowes' High Street and features a fabulous indoor space for the colder and damper days, made even cosier with the addition of wood burner, as well as a bright and sheltered outdoor space to enjoy during a warm and sunny day. The drinks and food menus offer something for all weathers too, from coffees and cakes to cocktails, wines and sharing platters.

Ice cream on Cowes Green
is a must on a sunny day.
While in Cowes, the short walk through the town and along to the seafront is not to be missed, with stunning and ever changing views of the Solent you will never get bored of. Make your way further along the seafront past the Royal Squadron Yacht Club where on a day with a spring tide this seemingly simple walk can turn into a mini adventure as the high tide laps onto the footpath. However, once you have conquered this stretch you will be rewarded with more beautiful Solent views, and weather permitting you could enjoy an all fresco ice cream at the Cabin on the Green or on a day with less favourable weather enjoy afternoon tea and cream cakes in the sheltered surroundings of the New Holmwood Hotel and Restaurant. From either one of these spots, the Green or the hotel you might be able to see a classic J-Class Yacht, smaller yachts and boats, as well as giant yet magnificent cruise ships weaving their way through the Solent.

Whatever you do in the lovely town that is Cowes, we hope you enjoy it in all its quirky beauty. It has plenty more to offer and is worth a visit all year round.

We look forward to seeing you next time you are in town!
